We loved the accommodating staff and spotless rooms. the hot water was excellent, and the towels were changed daily. Bolivar, the owner, was incredibly sweet and even gave us a ride into town. the location was perfect - close to the thermal baths and just a short walk to the center of town.

I had a fantastic stay at Hostal Monte Carmelo in Banos. We were a family of three staying for one night and almost two days. The staff were incredibly helpful, organizing our trips and dropping us off at the bus. Our room was super clean, with fresh sheets and towels provided. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of options. The location was quiet and within walking distance of downtown Banos. The view of the mountains was stunning and the facilities were well-maintained.

He even volunteered to drive us to our massage reservation at Luna Spa. The hostel is conveniently located within walking distance of downtown, with its amazing restaurants and cafes. The rooms are comfortable, and the breakfast and fresh juices are delicious. I highly recommend Hostal Monte Carmelo for a memorable stay in Baños.
